Looking West to the South Island from Titahi Bay
This is pretty much the view I’m in love with. And although the house is not the house of my dreams – it could be with a new kitchen and bathroom. I don’t mind doing the work and we can budget the cost.My biggest issue is the garden. It’s a gardener’s delight – which makes it my nightmare – I like gardens to look at, I just don’t like gardening. I’ve tried, several times, but the results are almost always worse than before I started!But we keep coming back to that view (the image above was taken from nearby). We’ve looked at other houses -one had a similar spectacular view – which was quite exciting- until we discovered that the back section’s driveway pretty much robbed this property of most of it’s privacy.Last night I wanted to put an offer in. This morning I didn’t! In the meanwhile I’ve sent an application in to the bank to see if they will come to the party.
